Mary Crocker Cook, Ph.D.,D.Min., LMFT, LAADC

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor and licensed addictions counselor who has been working with individuals and families since 1988. I also work as a full time faculty member and Program Coordinator for the San Jose City College Alcohol and Drug Studies program. I started this program in 1990.

 

Along the way I decided to write, something I have always wanted to do. I have a fabulous editor, Howard Scott Warshaw, LMFT and several of my books are used in other Alcohol and Drug Studies Program throughout the United States.

 

I have two main audiences: Counselors and People affected by the alcohol and drug use of other people. Many of my readers are both!

My books are based on my professional and personal experience as both a clinician and a person with over 25 years in Al-anon. While some of the books are more academic than others, they are all heart based. I invite you to scroll through the books I offer here and hopefully you'l find something that reaches out to you.
